Gabrielle Union is always hustling in the gym. At 48, the actress offers up serious fitness inspiration on the reg, sharing her intense workouts with fans on social media.

Case in point: The L.A.’s Finest star’s latest intense workout with Heart and Hustle gym. In a new video shared to her Instagram Stories, Gabrielle wears a cute matching gray workout outfit and Allbirds sneakers as she works up a sweat. She does multiple strength training moves, including seated dumbbell shoulder presses, resistance machine ab work, weighted single leg squats using a slider under one foot as she extends her leg out laterally, and weighted sumo squats. (Also, Gab’s playlist is incredible…she has Destiny’s Child and Missy Elliott blasting in the background to motivate her.)

The Being Mary Jane alum has continued to workout throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and shared with Women’s Health back in September 2020 that, “I feel different in my body. I feel freer.”

And that means staying consistent with her workouts. “If I don’t work out for two weeks, it’s like I’ve never done anything, ever,” she said.

Besides weight work, Gab is also a big fan of Pilates. “The great thing about Pilates is that I can take out my annoyance from waking up early on the machines instead of human beings,” she told WH. “It’s for the greater good. My body responds to it, and I’m also more clear.”

She also previously told Women’s Health that she likes to do cardio intervals.”I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill,” she said. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”
