Food products contaminated with Salmonella can cause severe illness, and as such if you believe you may be suffering the effects of eating contaminated products, visit your GO as soon as possible. Symptoms usually present around six to 72 hours after consumption and can last up to seven days.

The industry body recommends customers return their products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
