• Zendaya made fans go crazy with her BET Awards dress inspired by Beyonce.
  • The actress showed off her super toned abs, legs, and everything in the flowing purple gown.
  • Zendaya admits she needs help getting motivated for working out, so she wears wigs and plays a different character for each sweat sesh.

People couldn’t get enough when Beyonce performed “Crazy in Love” while wearing a gorgeous multicolored Versace dress at the BET Awards in 2003. Well, jaws dropped everywhere when Zendaya worked her version of that same dress at the BET Awards on Sunday.

Zendaya even gave a hat-tip to Beyonce on Instagram, writing “2003,” in one post and “Crazy in love” in another. (Yep, she understood the assignment.) She also shared footage of Beyonce’s iconic performance in her Instagram Stories. While Zendaya’s dress was an epic homage to Queen Bey, the Euphoria actress made it all her own, showing off her toned legs and sculpted abs in the process.

People needed a moment after seeing that, and fair. “I wonder what it feels like to be God’s favorite,” Storm Reid wrote in the comments. “🔥🔥🔥🔥,” said Donatella Versace.

OK, but wow. Wow.

You’d never know it by looking at her strong bod, but Zendaya recently said on The Late Show that she needs help getting motivated to work out sometimes. During the pandemic, Zendaya decided to ramp up her exercise game. “I figured that I should do more physical activity,” she explained. “I was like, ‘I need to start getting my blood pumping. I need to be outside more. I can’t just stay inside and not do anything all day.'”

So, to push herself to work out a little more, Zendaya started working out with her assistant Darnell Appling. She even dressed up in wigs to help her get into whatever character she was feeling at the time. “Every day—because I missed acting so much—to inspire me to go downstairs and work out, I would wear different wigs, because I have a whole collection of wigs from all the red carpets that I’ve done,” she said. “I wear a different wig, come down in a different character, and try to entertain [Appling] and make him laugh every single day.”

Zendaya told Harper’s Bazaar that she’s “never been a breakfast person” and she usually has her assistant “try to force me to eat something.” Her go to? Nutella anything. “I’ll eat breakfast food, but it must have some Nutella on it: pancakes, berries, and Nutella,” she shared. “If I don’t have a lot of time, I’ll just eat and focus on getting dressed.”

Zendaya is a vegetarian, and she once shared her top fast food vegetarian picks on her website (In-N-Out Burger’s grilled cheese with onions—mmm.) She told Harper’s Bazaar that, while she doesn’t cook, she usually just orders foods through Postmates. “I can have anything I want; that’s the beauty of ordering food,” she said. “If I’m having my favorite meal, I’ll just skip right to ice cream. In fact, I get in trouble with my assistant a lot—he says I shouldn’t do that. I usually try to ask everyone in the house what they want, but the final decision is mine. If I want Chick-fil-A, you guys are going to have Chick-fil-A. I will order something for you, but it will be from where I want.”

Zendaya also said she usually ends up snacking “throughout the day” with cup of noodles with hot sauce being her go-tos. “I know it’s bad for me. People are like, ‘Zendaya, it’s high in sodium!’ but it’s what I want to eat,” she said. Zendaya doesn’t drink coffee, energy drinks, or soda and, she said, she hates water.“I’m a juice drinker but not fancy-people juice. Like Tropicana or lemonade—not fancy,” she said.

Brb, I need to add some wigs to my home gym.
