The company Hansaplast calls back, as a precaution, four different meter-products from the sale.

As the company informs, can not be ruled out that individual products have microbial contamination.

These products are affected

The recall affected the following products, between the 30.04. and the 27.05.2020 in the trade to the sale were:

  • Hansaplast CLASSIC 1mx6cm, GTIN 4005800001833, Chargenr. 01624321, 01624323, 01664440

  • Hansaplast CLASSIC 1mx8cm, GTIN 4005800452932, Chargenr. 01514290

  • Hansaplast ELASTIC 1mx6cm, GTIN 4005801174611, Chargenr. 01434235, 0162432

  • Hansaplast SENSITIVE 1mx6cm, GTIN 4005801402967, Chargenr. 01624324, 01714443, 01714448

Product recall: Hansaplast calls back different patch

Customers who have purchased in the mentioned period of time patches of this type are asked to check the batch number on the bottom of the packaging, whether it is one of the recalled products.

Other patches are not affected, according to hansaplast.

On the nature of the possible contamination, the manufacturer makes no details.

Consumers will be charged a replacement available

Hansaplast is asking all customers to discontinue use of the affected patches directly.

Who has one of the affected products bought, can ask for a refund directly under the Hotline 49 40 / 4909 7570 (8.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday).

Already opened packages and packages without the appropriate proof of purchase can also be returned for repair – customers will then receive a comprehensive product set.
