Like many mums-to-be, Chrissy Teigen has turned to the Internet in a bid to solve a common pregnancy problem.
The 31-year-old, who recently announced she’s pregnant with baby number two, asked her 8.7 million Twitter followers whether it was normal to “get bigger, faster” when carrying a second child.
Fortunately, her fans assured her she most certainly is “normal” and had plenty of helpful advice, to boot.
And while you can’t always trust Dr Google, the experts do agree.
“You’ll look bigger sooner because your rectus abdominis muscle (what you think of as the ‘six pack’) has already been stretched out during your first pregnancy,” says Dr. Shelly Holmstrom told Parents.
So don’t feel bad about breaking out the maternity jeans much earlier the second time around.
