Though her official “Year of Health” ended back in December, Rebel Wilson is still out there living her healthiest life. She celebrated the long weekend on a boat in Palm Beach, Florida, and per usual, she’s feeling herself. I don’t blame her, she’s looking super fit and oh so happy in all her new beachy photos.
Rebel posted a whole series of thirst traps lounging in a turquoise swimsuit on a boat on Instagram. “I’m stronger up against the ropes 🏝,” she captioned the photos. She received a whole bunch of “🔥🔥” emojis and some witty comments in response. “Someone dial 911… Rebel just set the place on fire. 🔥🔥🔥”

Then, she showed off her strong physique in a belted black ensemble. Rebel wore a fitted black top and black biker shorts and added a 🌴 emoji in the caption. “Channeling grease. Olivia Newton,” “Okay sandy vibes,” and “Channeling Sandy from Grease!” followers commented. It looks like chic athleisure all day, every day is here to stay.

ICYMI Rebel has been all about her healthy lifestyle since the beginning of 2020. She started working with trainer Jono Castano and upped her step count. “I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it!” she shared on Instagram. She works out six days a week, and does a mix of cardio and weight lifting. “Ladies, don’t be afraid of weights,” she said. “I fricking love lifting weights. It just makes you feel, like, really strong.”
Rebel told People that she cut down on carbs and added protein to her diet, following the Mayr Method, which focuses on mindful eating and alkaline foods. “Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry,” she said. “So, I’ve really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn’t used to eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast.” She’s also counting calories. “Nutritionally, the only thing is I do try to stay under 1,500 calories because of my body type,” she said. “If want to lose weight in that week, I kind of have to stay under the 1,500 each day.”
Though she’s emphasized that her weight loss was motivated by health and not a desire to be thin, Rebel spoke out about how people have started treating her differently since she lost weight. “I think what’s been really interesting to me is how other people treat you,” Rebel told Us Weekly. “Sometimes being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look twice at you. And now that I’m in a good shape, like, people offer to carry my groceries to the car and hold doors open for you. I was like, ‘Is this what other people experienced all the time?’”
