The Team around Holger Andreas Volk of the University of Veterinary medicine Hannover, were among the employees of the Hannover Medical school and the University hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf, tested eight specialized sniffer dogs, the only service dog school of the Bundeswehr in Ulmen in the Rheinland-Pfalz.
After the one-week Training, the dogs were able to identify 1012 samples of saliva or respiratory and 94 percent secretion is correct, as the Team in the journal ‘BMC Infectious Diseases’ reported.
