Lancôme USA has a new brand president.
Stuart Leitch, current president of retail sales and business strategy for the L'Oréal Luxe division, has been appointed to president of Lancôme USA. In his new role, effective Jan. 1, Leitch will report to Megan Grant, president of L'Oréal Luxe USA.
In his most recent role, Leitch was tasked with strengthening retail partnerships and changing L'Oréal Luxe's approach to omnichannel. In a statement, Grant praised Leitch's business expertise and knowledge of the prestige market.
" business expertise and deep knowledge of the luxury market makes him well-positioned to head the brand," Grant said. "As the new president, he will be responsible for continued growth and profitability of Lancôme, which I am confident he will achieve with strong results."
Leitch succeeds Suriya Parksuwan, who has been promoted to managing director for L'Oréal Luxe U.K. and Ireland. Under Parksuwan, Lancôme saw consistent year-over-year growth for four years. During that time, the company embraced the influencer landscape, unveiling collaborations with two of beauty's biggest influencers, Camila Coelho and Chiara Ferragni.
