• Kelly Ripa, 50, showed off her toned abs in a new Instagram Story photo.
  • She snapped the pic mid-workout with her longtime trainer, Anna Kaiser.
  • Kelly loves doing dance workouts for cardio with circuit training mixed into it.

Kelly Ripa has made it super clear that she loves to dance, and she seems beyond thrilled to be back at it in a new Instagram Story.

The Live! with Kelly and Ryan host, 50, shared a photo of herself alongside her trainer, Anna Kaiser (who is also a choreographer, TYVM), during a workout. “First time in person in 14 months!” Kelly wrote in the caption, before tagging Anna’s studio.

In the mid-workout snap, Kelly and Anna are both in black pants with knotted white tees, and coordinating masks. The All My Children alum’s abs are clearly visible, and damn girl—there’s a six-pack situation going on there.

It’s not shocking that Kelly has amazing abs at 50, since she’s been blowing people away with her fitness for ages. But still.

The mom of three is huge on getting her cardio through dance. “I love to dance, and she loves to dance,” Kaiser previously told Women’s Health on Kelly’s go-to workout. Because of that, Kaiser uses a mix of dance cardio, along with functional training and circuit training, to help keep Kelly fit.

Pre-pandemic, Kelly and Kaiser used to meet up at least four times a week for a 60- to 90-minute workout that combined dance cardio, resistance work, strength training, and circuits. Kelly also used to do SoulCycle, but no word on whether she’s gotten back into it again.

Kaiser even pulls Kelly’s love of dance into their arm workouts, telling People that she and Kelly do them at a ballet bar, including pulses and pushing off the bar.

Aaaand, as you can tell, Kelly works on her abs—specifically, her core. “Every exercise we do works your full core—the butt, the abs, and the back—at the same time,” Kaiser told Women’s Health. “If you’re training functionally, you’re hitting those muscles from all planes of motion.”

And that is how Kelly gets those ridiculous abs.
