Makeup artist Sarah Brock recently had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with the gorgeous Gal Gadot on the set of Wonder Woman.
Now, Sarah is sharing the hero products and super methods that she used to create the 32-year-old actor’s look for the record-breaking film.
“I used small amounts of several different products, which I applied with my fingers and then blended well so that they didn’t ‘sit’ on the skin – they ‘became’ part of her skin,” she told PeopleStyle. “I apply cream bronzers and blush after foundation and then I’d add fine powder formulas at the end of the makeup if I wanted more definition for filming.”
The whole process would take around 45 to 60 minutes each day.
“I try to use as many cream-based products as possible on the skin (blush, contour and highlighter), which keeps the skin looking dewy and younger. And use as little powder as possible, as it tends to make the skin look flat and takes away the natural glow.”
“The biggest mistake women make is that they think that the way to get a flawless complexion is to pile on a thick layer of thick foundation to cover all of their imperfections – but that’s when makeup looks heavy and cakey,” Brock explained to PeopleStyle. “I apply a light foundation base and then go in with concealers and correctors after to add more coverage where needed.”
Brock said her go-to products were Smashbox L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colour in Venice Beach Bronze, Stila’s Convertable Color Dual Lip & Cheek Cream in Lillium, Chanel Rouge COCO Baume and Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick.
