Actor Vivienne Awosoga, 24, shares her day on a plate.

8.15am I'm a fan of brekkie on the bus to save time, so I whip up a banana smoothie with frozen raspberries, almond milk, honey and protein powder to have on the go.
1pm Last night's vegetarian stir-fry reheated; it always tastes better than the night before. Sautéd carrots, green beans, red capsicum, teriyaki and sesame tofu with ginger rice. Plus a long black coffee.
5.45pm After rehearsal, I have a KitKat on the train.
7.30pm At my boyfriend's house, I am lucky enough to be cooked for: home-made spinach and ricotta quiche with a tomato, avocado and lettuce salad.
8.45pm Lemon and ginger tea with manuka honey to soothe the throat.
Dr Joanna McMillan says …
Top marks for … A vegie-rich vegetarian day! That might sound odd, but many vegetarians still don't eat enough vegies. By getting them into two meals, you likely meet your five-serves-a-day requirement. A smoothie is great for brekkie on the run.
If you keep eating like this you'll … Fall short on fibre, required for good gut health. Vegies and the fruit provide some, but this day lacked any wholegrains, legumes, whole nuts or seeds.
Why don't you try … Skipping the processed protein powder, and instead adding cashews, rolled oats and natural yoghurt to your smoothie. Choose brown or black rice with your stir-fry. Snack on a handful of nuts, seeds and a small amount of dark chocolate rather than the KitKat.
