Hannah Polites is a 28-year-old lifestyle blogger and influencer based in Australia’s Gold Coast. Generally, she focuses on fitness, food, style, and travel, but with a brand-new baby, she’s been filling her feed with pregnancy photos and her honest postpartum experience.

In her most recent post though, Hannah reveals she actually suffered some body-shaming during her pregnancy. The new post, shared on Instagram Sunday, shared a before-and-after photo of Hannah at 38 weeks pregnant and 13 days postpartum.

“The body is so amazing,” she wrote. “Cannot believe how much more I popped with this baby compared to my pregnancy with Evaliah [her first child]. I would get comments everywhere I went about how big I was and ‘am I sure there’s not two in there?!'”

Hannah went on to say that while this baby (named Arlo, FYI) weighed 450 grams—or just about one pound—more than her first child, he was still “well within average.” Hannah also countered body critics: “Luckily, I don’t let the comments worry me as I knew my body wouldn’t grow a baby it couldn’t handle,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first post-baby photo Hannah’s shared in an effort to be as real as possible with her followers. Just one day after giving birth, she shared a nude mirror selfie, showing her postpartum body.
