- Model and swimsuit designer Elizabeth Hurley, 54, just showed off her toned abs in a blue bikini Instagram post.
- She previously told WH that she has pretty consistent eating habits after trying out some trendy diets.
- Elizabeth also prefers to exercise outside with her dogs, rather than hit the gym.
Elizabeth Hurley—model, actress, swimsuit designer, and 54-year-old mom—just stunned her Instagram followers with another awe-worthy bikini Instagram. The star showed off her toned abs in a photo of herself wearing a “Kashmir blue” bikini she designed, natch, and her fans went crazy for her latest summer lewk.
“Wow age is just a number for sure when you see a post like that !!! Looking amazing 👌” one person commented.
“Smokin you’re still so unbelievably pretty and fit🔥🔥,” another wrote.
So, how does she do it? Well, Elizabeth told Women’s Health in 2018 that her diet is pretty consistent. Though she’s experimented with trendy (and questionable) diets like the Blood-Type Diet in the past, she lately sticks to Greek yogurt, a banana, and a little bit of honey in the morning, plus a glass of warm water with a splash of apple cider vinegar.
For lunch, she goes for vegetable soup. And dinner? It’s more veggies with a piece of grilled chicken. She’s proof that, sometimes, a simple diet is the best one.
And though she’s not an avid gym-goer, Elizabeth stays fit by working fitness into her everyday routine.”I don’t really lie around on the sofa much,” she told E! News in 2016. “I like running around, so I don’t feel like I need to be skinny, but I feel the need to be athletic and fit.”
She also does squats for “as long as it takes to brush [her] teeth in the morning,” and repeats the routine in the afternoon, she told Women’s Health. For cardio, she goes on half-hour walks with her Labrador, Hector, and cocker spaniel, Mia, “just fast enough to get my heart rate up.”
Sometimes, Elizabeth does yoga and Pilates, but generally, she prefers to exercise in the great outdoors. “Fresh air frees you of all tension,” she said.
