He’s here!
MSNBC Live anchor Katy Tur and her husband, author and CBS news correspondent Tony Dokoupil welcomed their first child together, son Theodore, on Saturday, April 13.
Colleague Kasie Hunt made the exciting announcement on-air Tuesday, telling viewers, “Katy and her husband Tony welcomed this little guy into the world on Saturday morning. Theodore ‘Teddy’ Dokoupil weighed in at 6 lbs., 5 oz. He stretches nearly 20 inches. Mom, dad and tiny Teddy are all doing great.”
Hunt added: “In Katy’s own words, ‘Many smooches and snuggles later Theodore, mom, big brother and big sister are wondering if they make a swaddle big enough for five.’ “
Dokoupil, who married Tur in October 2017, has two other children from his previous marriage.
