Even Kim Kardashian West knows that when it comes to parenting, anything goes.
In a new interview for Vogue‘s “73 Questions” series, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and mom of three was joined by husband Kanye West and their children — Chicago, 14 months, Saint, 3, and North, 5½ — as she talked about all things parenthood and how they’re preparing to welcome their fourth child soon.
“You just have to wing it,” Kardashian West, 38, answered when asked the secret to successful child rearing. “My sisters and I are in a group chat, always getting parenting advice.”
Joked West, 41, from the bed — where he and Chicago were lounging together — “Uh, but they don’t get advice from me — can I get on that chat, please?”
The biggest thing Kardashian West’s own parents taught her is that “family is everything” while “when the kids tell you they love you” is the best part of being a mom, for her. (For the rapper? “The kids,” West quipped simply of his favorite part of fatherhood.)

Kim Kardashian Reveals the “Prank” She and Her Kids Pulled on Kanye West for April Fools’ Day: “Mommy’s Dead!”
With her fourth child, a baby boy, due to arrive this spring, the KKW Beauty founder has had a lot of time not only to impart lessons on her kids but to learn from them in being their mother.
“My kids have taught me how to be patient and just what’s important in life. … And Fortnite,” she joked — but in all seriousness, “I want my kids to be kind and to treat everybody the same way,” she said.
North, Saint and Chicago are all into different things nowadays. Saint has a healthy appreciation for “anything PAW Patrol,” according to his mom, while North told Vogue she wants to meet Bill Nye the Science Guy.
“And Chi is into anything food,” Kardashian West said of her youngest.
The whole family is excited about the new baby, but especially North because, as Kardashian West explained, “Saint will have someone to play with instead of her.”
And while the fourth-time mom-to-be is “kinda stressing” since the nursery isn’t quite ready, Saint is prepared with a moniker for his brother on the way.
“Saint wants to name him Sainty II, right?” Kardashian West asked her son.
She also told Vogue that although they haven’t settled on a moniker just yet, it “definitely” will not be “another direction” name like her oldest child’s: “That is all for North.”
