Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade don’t miss an opportunity to sweat together. The swole mates exercise regularly at Heart & Hustle gym in Los Angeles, and their latest Instagram video proves that they don’t mess around with their couple workouts.

Union posted snippets of their “push day” routine on her Instagram stories yesterday, which included walking on a StairMaster, doing leg presses, and balance step-ups. Push exercises are important because they work the front of the body.

In the first video, Union is climbing on a StairMaster, working her glutes, thighs, and calves, while Wade is doing seated leg presses. After some time on each machine, they alternate.

If you think the StairMaster is an easy exercise, think again. Steps are designed to be short so you have to engage multiple muscles, like your glutes, quads, and calves, to lift your entire body up. It’s also a great way to get your heart rate up and infuse some metabolism-boosting cardio into your workout if you hate running.

The leg press machine is an excellent tool for toning up your entire lower body. It strengthens your hamstrings, quads, calves, and core. The key is to brace your core before you extend your legs.

In the next set of exercises, Union and Wade perform cable machine pushes to target their back, chest, shoulders, and arms. While one partner works on the cable machine, the other person is doing single-leg balance exercises on a step. On the step-up, notice how Wade’s other foot is just hovering over the floor as he lowers his body. This forces him to tighten his glutes and calves. He also has his hands overhead to help activate his core.

The last set of push exercises involve using a landmine to do shoulder presses and using a Core-Tex balance trainer—think of it as a BOSU ball on steroids. It brings you planks to a whole new level.
