Tattoos are forever. But, sometimes you realize a once-amazing tat just isn’t a good fit for you anymore. Apparently that’s happened to Sarah Hyland, because she just got a tattoo removed—and she shared the experience with the world.

In a new Instagram Stories video, Sarah can be seen lying on her stomach while wearing protective goggles. “Actual reaction to some laser tattoo removal,” she wrote over a video of her grimacing in pain. “Oof…that hurt. Spicy,” she says, as you can see a doctor behind her.

Sarah didn’t offer any details about which tat she had removed, but she has previously shared two possible candidates. She revealed in 2017 that she has purple dinosaur ink on her butt and an arrow between her shoulder blades.

From where the doctor was standing, it kinda looks like the dino tat might be on the chopping block, but TBH it’s hard to tell. Sarah’s dino tat actually matches one that her BFF Katie Welch has. After Sarah posted her dino booty pic back in 2017, Katie also shared the same photo on her own Instagram, with the caption, “When you and your bestie got that T-Rex Booty Tat #dinobootybabies #ifyougotitflauntit.”

Sarah also shared on Instagram in 2017 that she got a tattoo to symbolize one of her “favorite quotes.” “’The best way out is always through’- Robert Frost,” she wrote in the caption.

No word on why Sarah wants to get rid of one of her tats but hey, it happens.
