Before having her baby boy, Jana Kramer was really hoping to add another girl to the family.
The singer, 35, and her husband Mike Caussin welcomed their son Jace Joseph on Nov. 29 and are also parents to daughter Jolie Rae, 3.
On Tuesday, Kramer posted a sweet photo of her and Jace cuddling to Instagram and opened up in the caption about how having a boy totally changed her perspective.
“Mommas boy and I’m soaking in every minute,” Kramer wrote. “How is he going to be 5 months in a little over a week!?! Insane how fast it’s going but also how much I LOVE being a boy mom already. Real talk, I really wanted another girl … BUT, after having Jace, I seriously want a million more boys. I’m OBSESSED with him and I can’t imagine not having this little guy.”
“I’m so grateful we were blessed with another baby and I’m beyond blessed it was a boy,” she continued. “I can already tell the momma son relationship is unlike any other! His future wife is screwed because I will be a monster in law because he’s my baby boyyyyyy!!!!!!”

Jana Kramer and Husband Mike Caussin Slam “Trolls” Shaming How They Sleep Train Their Son: “Leave Us Alone”
Earlier this week, the star revealed on her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer that she was currently searching for a nanny on Care.com after the one that she and her husband were using had recently quit. She also said she wouldn’t hire an attractive nanny due to Caussin being repeatedly unfaithful in 2016.
“Not that I don’t trust my husband … I just think it’s not smart,” Kramer explained. “You look at some of these nannies and I’m like, ‘Well, you kinda asked for it, she’s kinda hot.’ You know what I mean? You’re in close quarters.”
Since the cheating scandal went public, Kramer and Caussin have openly been rebuilding their relationship and renewed their vows in December 2017.
In February, after joking about Caussin’s infidelity on her podcast, Kramer issued an apology on Instagram to the former NFL player and claimed she would stop bringing up his affairs because “it is in the past and that’s where it needs to stay.”
“Truth is, the past year Mike has shown up in every way I could have hoped for,” she added of her husband, 32. “He’s an incredible father, and has been working his ass off for our family, me and most importantly himself, so I’m sorry Mike and I love you and [am] so thankful for you and our family and all your hard work!”
Despite her promise, Kramer has continued to speak to the bump in their relationship — first with her new single “Beautiful Lies,” which details how she felt during her break with Caussin, and recently about the exact moment she learned her husband had been unfaithful.
While speaking to PEOPLE ahead of her new song’s release, the mother of two revealed how the things she says about her marriage with Caussin can sometimes be taken differently than she intends.
“It definitely gets to me because I’m like, ‘Man, maybe I shouldn’t be so open or maybe I shouldn’t joke around so much because it seems to kind of bite me in the butt sometimes,’ ” she said. “But I have to remember that for every one negative comment there’s 50 positive. I need to start focusing more on the positive because I think it’s so easy to harp on the negative, especially in today’s world.”
